World's Largest Couple Vintage Photograph - Step right up, step right up and come see Captain & Mrs. Bates the world's largest couple in 1888. Wow, look how tall they are! According to Captain Bates, he finally stopped growing when he was 28. He measured in at 7 ft 8 inches and weight 470! Nothing compared to his wife that measured in at 7 ft 11 inches! The man pictured with them is Lei McFarland, a friend.

A stroll through the late 19th and 20th century - the people, their struggle, their play, and their time in between. A mosaic of images depicting those hard and eventful years of our grandparents and great grandparents, presented, as they would appear back in those rough and tumble days.

Each image is matted behind an "old" and slightly distressed frame, and put under safety plexiglass. We also offer each image unframed. A great deal of time and attention has been spent developing this collection. Some of these images show the wear of time, and some reveal to us that the art was not quite as sharp and precise as it is today. Each image does, however allow us to let our imaginations return to those earlier times of struggle, victory, ingenuity, and thrift.
