Lounge Lizard Humidor - Michael Godard displays such intense detail in his art. These lizards are truly lounging. One is blowing smoke rings and the other is relaxing in his smoking jacket. Godard's collection is notable for its lively olives, as represented here as the sexy waitress. A retro scene full of pscychedlic lava lamps, bubble chairs, the sun clock, the kidney shaped table, all complete this space age lounge. Every piece of furniture has chrome legs, as popular in the 60's. Notice the stirrer is actually a grasshopper. This is a limited edition piece, there are only 100 produced per design. This humidor comes numbered and with a Certificate of Limitation and Authenticity. The artist, Michael, grew up in Las Vegas near the Nevada Test Site, which is probably where he gets the twisted visions that he paints. He is widely recognized as one of the most versatile artists of our time. Michael was the first California Artist commissioned to do inchesCows on Parade inches that was featured on Oprah. He has also appeared on ABC, NBC, OCN, KOCE, KCET, Evening Magazine, and the Christopher Lowell Show on the Discovery Channel. He was commissioned by the Double Platinum Rock Band inchesDishwalla inches to do the cover of their third album, inchesOpaline inches. Mike's works can be found in numerous selected art galleries, homes and businesses throughout the US and Japan, and many celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger own his pieces.
